Change is Coming.
In June we will begin a new schedule as we move from a COVID modified schedule to a full schedule, with first and third Sunday worship at 9:30AM and second, fourth and fifth Sunday worship at 11:15AM.
So much change in such a short period of time! I must admit, a regular schedule seems like heaven about now: a comforting routine to calm the anxiety of change. CHANGE is difficult. It disrupts our equilibrium and forces us out of our comfort zones. But, at this point in our world - well into our second year living in a pandemic - it is necessary for us to change.
But Jesus reminds how to deal with a changing world. In Matthew 6, verses 25-27, he tells his followers “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.”
God will care for us, even when life seems unsteady or chaotic.
His eye is on the sparrow and I know he watches over us.
