Holy Week - Monday

Christ has no body but yours,

No hands, no feet on earth but yours,

Yours are the eyes with which He looks

Compassion on this world,

Yours are the feet with which

He walks to do good,

Yours are the hands, with which He blesses all the world.

Yours are the hands, yours are the feet,

Yours are the eyes, you are His body.

Christ has no body now but yours,

No hands, no feet on earth but yours,

Yours are the eyes with which he looks

compassion on this world.

Christ has no body now on earth but yours.

~ St. Theresa of Ávila

How will I use my hands today to bless all the world?

In August I was blessed to be present at the Student Leaders Inauguration at Happy Valley School in Padhar. After the ceremony, the leaders from each class took photos as a group, then with their teachers, then with their parents. There was a lot of positioning and repositioning. During that time, the littlest girl reached out to hold the hand of her friend, who led her to the right position and helped her to feel safe and confident. I snapped this photo when they were situated: two friends keeping each other safe and secure.

"Christ has no body but yours,

No hands, no feet on earth but yours..."

How will I use my hands today to bless all the world?
