Spanish Life with Po

As Po and I reach our one year anniversary in Spain, I thought I'd send an update on Po's adjustment to Spanish living. Po and I lead a pretty quiet life, as we did in Southern California and in Kona. She has a schedule that involves walking, napping, eating, barking with her friends across the way, greeting delivery people and friends with excitement, trying to find some moments of sunshine in which to lay, and playing.

Some adjustments: We don't have much grass in our neighborhood and our housing blocks have rocks that separate our houses and those hurt her sensitive feet. But she endures.

I live in a very spacious bungalow (3 bed, 2 bath) and much of the square footage is on the second floor. Because the floors are connected by a very steep spiral staircase, Po has NEVER even tried to get to the second floor. Not even when enticed by her favorite Oliver!

Because we do not have grass, we do a lot of walking around the neighborhood, twice in the morning and twice in the evening. Sometimes those walks take us into the park and occasionally, she'll play stick with me. Lately, when the sun is out, and she is not too tired, she will run and play. That makes me happy.

She misses her bestie Panda and all her friends back home, but she's met some nice folks here too. She sends her love to you from our bungalow in La Siesta.
