A review of itineration

As my missionary term came to an end, I spent the month of December traveling to connect with supporting churches in California and Oregon. At each stop, I spoke about La Siesta Evangelical Church, the amazing international church movement and the work of the Spanish Protestant Church as an inclusive and welcoming community for immigrants, sojourners and members of the LGBTQIA community. Here is a review of my tour.

Celebrating the first Sunday of Advent with the folks at Walnut United Methodist Church! It was so nice to worship with friends and to share my mission work with my first supporting church.

2nd stop on my itineration journey: the Christmas tea with the United Women in Faith of Claremont United Methodist Church in California. It was a lovely day with friends.

Stop number 3 on my itineration tour: worship with the good folks at First UMC of Vista! Many thanks to Pastor Broghan for the warm welcome.

Stop Number 4 on my Itineration tour was a presentation at the United Women in Faith meeting at Walnut United Methodist Church. So great to see friends!

Stop number 5 on my tour was to Claremont United Methodist Church in California for their worship this third Sunday of Advent. What a joy to be in my home church with my folks!

Stop number 6 on my itineraration tour is McCabe Chapel UMC in McMinnville, Oregon. What a beautiful little church and a warm and welcoming community!

Last stop on my missionary itineration journey: Westchester United Methodist Church, Los Angeles! It’s been 20 years since I arrived as the pastor here and it was fun to see some familiar faces. Many thanks to Pastor Lyda Eddington for the warm welcome!
