Our Amazing Cultural Night!

Rodrigo leads us all in “Cielito Lindo,” a very popular song from Mexico.

Last night, after a day of touring, we gathered together for “Cultural Night,” an opportunity to share aspects of the cultures in which we serve.There were tables set up around the room and people brought items to display, food stuffs and treats, fun give-away items and information about their places of assignment throughout Latin America, Europe and Eurasia.

The music was inspiring and incredible! The musicians from CEPALC led us in singing and dancing. Sarah, missionary in Italy, perform an operatic piece, and Rodrigo sang some songs from Mexico and Costa Rica. There was dancing, Irish poetry, teaching of North Macedonia idioms and a tour of the tables. What a marvelous way to get to know each other and to show how the Church is at work in the world.
